The wonderful life of au pairs in China!

Did the jokes about English yesterday make you laugh out loud? Today, the editor will be more serious and introduce to you the au pairs from all over the world who are doing au pair programs in China.

What kind of colorful life are they leading here? During the New Year's Day, the au pairs in Shanghai Huiling Au Pair Program, organized by the institution, went on a one-day trip to Shanghai Sheshan National Forest Park.
Let's see what they were doing! Hahaha! It turns out they were playing the game of hugging trees! Isn't it exciting? Speaking of counting, the editor can't help but tell another joke. Once during military training, the instructor said to the students, "First row! Count off!" The first student in the first row looked at the instructor in surprise and didn't react.

So the instructor shouted again, "Count off!" Finally, the student unwillingly turned around and hugged a tree. After hugging the tree, everyone excitedly headed to the famous scenic spot of Sheshan - the Xiu Daozhe Pagoda. The Xiu Daozhe Pagoda, also known as the Moon Shadow Pagoda or the Cong Dao Ren Pagoda, is located on the waist of Sheshan Mountain in Songjiang District, Shanghai.

It was built during the Taiping Xingguo period of the Northern Song Dynasty (976-983 AD). There is a Taoist temple called Chao Yin An on the mountain, and a Taoist named Xiu participated in the construction of this pagoda. The pagoda is a brick and wood structure with an octagonal base and seven floors, and is a pavilion-style pagoda with eaves and balconies. The Xiu Daozhe Pagoda is an octagonal thirteen-story pagoda with a height of over 50 meters.

The base is a double-layer Sumeru pedestal with many small niches, and the niches are engraved with Buddhist stories, mountains, rivers, pines, cypresses, auspicious clouds, pagodas, temples, mythical beasts, and figures, all vividly depicted.

After the New Year's Day, it's time for the Chinese New Year! For us Chinese, celebrating the New Year means going home to reunite with family.
But our au pairs in China decided to go to the ancient town of Qibao in Shanghai as a group to enjoy the ancient charm of the Jiangnan region! Qibao Town is located in the southwest of Shanghai and is a historical ancient town with both the natural scenery of a water town in Jiangnan and a long cultural heritage. Their first stop was the Qibao Old Restaurant, which is a great temptation for au pairs in China. The Qibao Old Restaurant is an old restaurant in Qibao Town, with a Ming and Qing-style wooden building as the store.

The second floor has private rooms, from where you can overlook the entire old street. After enjoying the Shanghai cuisine, our au pairs immediately rushed to a small steamed bun shop to enjoy the local specialties.
When it comes to small steamed buns, people usually think of Nanxiang's small steamed buns, but the small steamed buns in Qibao are also very delicious. The small steamed bun shop beside the Qibao Old Street Bridge is the best one in Qibao.
The signature dish of this shop is the crab roe small steamed buns, which are rich in soup and delicious. The au pairs were full of praise for them! Well! After seeing the wonderful trip of the au pairs in Shanghai, are you also feeling itchy? Then hurry up and find an au pair for your family! Or, simply become an au pair yourself and experience the collision of different cultures!
